Dear EESTECERS,
It is an honour to present KONTEH 10 ! A fair of job opportunities that is being held, for the fourth time, in Novi Sad, on March 17th and 18th 2010.
KONTEH is a great opportunity for final year students and graduates of the University of Novi Sad to find a job or get in contact with representatives of domestic and foreign companies in which they want to work. Through interviews and surveys, conducted by the firm on site, students become potential candidates for jobs in companies that they themselves chose. In this way, highly educated young people realize what is, in fact, the hardest step towards employment, and also projects of this kind opens the cooperation between universities and industry, which is extremely important for the placement of young professionals of all higher education profile. Cooperation that would be established between this economy and education could lead to lighter and faster changes in educational programs, and the faster introduction and adoption of new trends that we are inevitably impose. We do not even need to mention how important this is for specific engineering disciplines such as computer science, which are today developing extremely fast. And finally, perhaps this, and other similar projects can help to easily and quickly overcome the problem of unemployment.
A very succesfull job fairs were held in December 2006 - KONTEH 06 and in December 2007-KONTEH 07. In that way many students find a job or internship. Great cooperation with the Faculty of technical sciences and University of Novi Sad, National employment agency and Provincial secretariate for sports and youth that announces KONTEH as the best job fair so far held in Novi Sad under its patronage ! With the announcement of active cooperation with Faculties and the University, Provincial secretariates, National employment agency, a number of domestic and foreign companies and a vast population of both students and graduates we would like to point out !
